I presented this topic to the Houston Aviation Study Group on 4/7/26 to understand stalls. A lot of pilots know HOW a stall occurs, but now WHY.
For the longest time, I have heard stories about Houston's aviation legend, Pat Brown. He is a representative of AOPA, and pilot examiner with thousands of hours worth of experience. He also has a podcast called "Mad Props Aero" which I love to learn from. I finally had a chance to meet and learn from him at the DPE Q&A at Pour Le Merite!
I presented this topic to the Houston Aviation Study Group on 3/23/26 to help fellow pilots save money on flight training. Check it out if you also want to save thousands on flight training...
I presented this topic to the Houston Aviation Study Group on 3/9/26 to help pilots in training study and prepare for an upcoming checkride. Check it out if you have an upcoming checkride... Good Luck!
I had the lovely opportunity of transporting Ella, a rescue pup from Houston to Dallas on 9/2/25 in a Piper Cherokee 140! She was a better passenger than most (didn't whine or throw up lol), and I am glad that I was able to make time building purposeful.
The Piper J3 Cub... what a simple, yet iconic airplane. Many people even call it "The Big Teddy Bear!" I asked the instructors over at Airborne Aero Club (KDWH) to give me a discovery flight for fun on 10/5/24. The J3 Cub is one of my dream airplanes, and I hope to own it one day.
I'm on the right, and to my left is Seth. He and I, worked together at a retail pharmacy and was my pharmacist. He also loves airplanes, so I had the fantastic idea to take him flying down to Sugarland from Hooks airport on 11/14/26. We had some tasty Pakistani food, and flew back as we enjoyed the sunset...
I had the honour of flying a Quicksilver (Experimental) on 1/18/24. My friend / instructor / mentor, Landen Smith welcomed me to fly to lunch at Lake Conroe as a gift for my first solo. Many have called this tiny airplane a "lawnchair on floats!"
I was flying from Houston to Washinghton DC with my mom for a wedding we had to attend. While boarding, I decided to shoot my shot and ask one of the flight attendants if I could visit the cockpit. Contrary to my expectation, she agreed! I got to sit in the captain's seat, talk to the pilots, and flash my private pilot's certificate at them. Hopefully I can be sitting there one day!
We all do a preflight assessment before a flight, but I felt like there is no "checklist" to follow and be standardized, resulting in me missing many important factors. To fix this issue, I decided to write-up my own PAVE checklist, which mentions the most important factors I must review prior to flight, as an instructor in a single engine trainer...
